Shasta Lake browns and rainbows!

We fished Shasta Lake today and once again had to work for our bites.  By the end of the day we had 10 trout landed with a few losses to groan over as well.  Our fish were spitting plankton in the net, so thats a sign we're rounding the corner towards spring.  The lake was in great shape today and the visibility was good.  The trout are on top slurping plankton, so no need to drop down too deep.  Water temps are still low and the crazy weather isnt helping the bite much either.  Looking forward to a warming trend and some big browns to go along with it!
