Bass Bite is Incredible Right Now

The water temperature is warming up in spots. The bass bite was incredible on Friday out here! Every Angler I asked has between 8-20! Average size is 3-5 pounds. Most reported catching 5-15 feet deep. Average size 3-5 pounds. Boulder Bay, The North Arm and shoreline.

The Bass bite is slowing down here El Capitan but the Bluegill and Catfish bite has been excellent.  The water level is down so the Bluegill bite is much better.  Bass are biting on nightcrawlers, red and green plastics worms and micro bait.  Bluegill are bitting on red worms and crickets.  Crappie have just started biting.  We are now open for the winter months.  Saturday and Sunday from 6am-4pm Friday, Monday and Tuesday we are open for boat rentals only. ...... There were 27 anglers reported this week here at the lake.  With reports of 126 Bass, 4 Channel Catfish and 4 Blue Catfish being caught.  Bass are biting on nightcrawlers, red and green plastic worms and micro bait.  Bluegill are also biting and Crappie have just started to bite.  There was reports of a 29 lb Blue Catfish being caught this past week. ......
