There is no better time then the present to get out and load up the freezer with rockfish aboard the Chubasco2. The fishing has been outstanding with a nice mix of red rock cod, chuckleheads, sculping and whitefish to name just a few, all of which are outstanding eating( i personally like to make fish tacos or fried fish out of them). In the weeks to come pay attention to our fish count and hopefully we start to see some surface fish such as yellowtail and calico bass. The Oceanside Sea Center presently offers half day trips daily along with daily whale watching and of coarse all boats are available for private charters.
