Channel Islands Sportfishing

Channel Islands Sportfishing Mid-Day Report:

With Spring upon us, the Channel Island’s wildflowers are in full bloom. Our ocean excursions, both fishing and whale watching offer the opportunity for a glimpse at these islands during their peak beauty!

Captain Robert on the Ranger 85 reported heavy cetacean traffic in the channel this morning. Our lucky whale watchers are having a swell time, viewing several Gray Whale mother and calf pairs as well as six Humpbacks and a dozen dolphin.

If you’d like to get out on the water tomorrow, we’ve got the Mirage departing tonight with a few open spots. Full day trips available on the Cobra and Aloha Spirit, ¾ day trips on the Gentleman and Erna-B, a ½ day trip on the Speed Twin and a few spots left on our morning whale watching tour. Get out while the fishing is hot and the beauty of wildlife abundant.
