Fast action Sac River fishing guides!

Jeff Goodwin

Justin has been working the Sacramento River in Redding and is on a red hot bite in the high flows from Keswick dam which has beached the local drift boat fly fishing fleet.  This means we pretty much have the river to ourselves and light pressure on the steelhead/trout in the big water has them on a feeding frenzy!  Flows are going to drop slightly this week and the weather is going to be awesome!  If your looking for some great fishing, look no further than the Sacramento River steelhead/trout fishing right now!  Call me to get your group trip reserved this week or we can put together a "single seat" trip if there is enough interest!  Justin is fishing a group for me tofday so I'll have another report later. In the meantime, here are a few pics from yesterday where over 50 fish were landed before early afternoon!

Jeff Goodwin is a full time Northern California fishing guide.  He guides year round for salmon, trout, steelhead, Kokanee, and bass on Northern California rivers and lakes. He fishes many bodies of water in the Redding area, but also guides the Sacramento River and Feather River during certain times of the year. Jeff can also be found on the California coast chasing ocean fresh King salmon and steelhead each year.
