Santiam River Fishing Report

3-13-2019
OR Department of Fish & Wildlife Staff

As of March 11, flows were around 1,700 cfs at the Mehama gauge.  These moderate flows will likely continue all week.  River levels best for fishing are at or below 3,000 cfs.

Most anglers are targeting the few remaining summer steelhead from last year that have not yet spawned.  Spring Chinook and summer steelhead will begin to return in April.
