Capt. Ray and crew brought home the folks from this 10 day trip with a beautiful catch of wahoo, tuna and yellowtail. We had a few of our favorite regulars onboard along with a new group of anglers (new to this style fishing, they are by no means new to angling as most owned fishing guide services) from Alaska and the sum of the total was a whole bunch of nice.
Congrats to jackpot winners:
1st place Steve Walli 45.6#
2nd place Mike Devaney 41.6#
3rd place Tom Smith 39.8#
Below is a little something from one of the Alaskans - Jim House, owner/operator of Quickwater Adventures in Homer - with his own version of a daily report:

Good Morning Lori! Almost fishing time, bunch of excited old guys on here. The ride has been pretty good, in the ditch currently but oh well.
12/4
Pretty obvious I'm not gonna lose the 20lbs on this trip
In a pretty good bite and gorgeous sunset!
12/5
Steve Walli got a few and smiles and says "I been waitin 50 years for this Jim House!"
I say this trip for me is really about him: he's the man and is so happy to be out here! We're never coming home - it's warm and they make the best bread in the whole world out here. The food is ridiculous. No room in the staterooms for sit ups.
12/6
Morning!!! Gorgeous sunset n sunrise, got over run by skip jack so trolling for wahoo, not a lick of wind.
Wahoo bein elusive, swing n miss on troll gear didn't stick
12/7
This was first Marlin(catch and release); Steve Walli just got one!!! Don't think I've ever seen him so happy literally!!! He's high as a freakin kite!! Brought tears to my eyes so had to flip the sunglasses down pronto geez
12/8
Lori - this weather is outstanding!!!!!
Woohoo! Great morning; wide open bite, nothing but a big blast!!! Pretty sure this is gonna be a thang.
Steve Walli with 2 wahoo, one is a dandy! Quote: "That wahoo tore me a new asshole from one end of this boat to the other!"
Steve Walli - the glue of the Alaska group

Beautiful out here, off some beach somewhere lookin for yellowtail
Found fish :) Hot n sunny - Heaven!
The most used statement thus far "This is the most fun you can have with your pants on!!!"
Yellowtail!!!!

and not pictured but also guide owner/operator onboard was Mike Manns of Manns Charter Service.
12/10
You guys got a good thing goin here!!
12/11
This has been a fulfilling and memorable trip. Steve Walli told me a few years ago while we were fishing, "catching fish is the bonus to fishing". Never has it become more clear to me than right now.
Talk of next year's trip (:
Thanks for the daily Jim and hope to see you and the guys next season!
The guys are wrapping things up until January's Accurate trip and this gives them a chance to spend well deserved time with family and friends.
We want to thank everyone for coming fishing and wish you all a very warm and memorable holiday season.
