Capt. Ray Lopez brought the group in early this chilly morning (at least if you are a thin blooded southern Californian).  What a beautiful catch which included wahoo, school sized 18 - 40# tuna, nice yellowtail and a handful of Dorado.  The crew enjoyed having so many anglers new to the American Angler and look forward to your next trip with us!

Congrats to jackpot winners:

1st place:  Jim Ahn (all the way from Canada)   49.6# wahoo

2nd place:  Gavin Fenske  48.8# wahoo

3rd place:  Marty Raphael (all the way from Washington) 45.2# wahoo

Mission accomplished Today we shifted gears and tied on our yo-yo jigs and dropper loops in search of a few yellows. Low and behold Lady Luck was on our side again to steer us in the right direction, with a never wide open bite but exciting flurry fishing on beautiful grade yellows. It’s one thing to roll down and have good fishing timing but when you can throw in epic weather as well, what an absolute treat.... lucky for us we’ve had extremely good luck in both worlds.
