Trout bite has improved with anglers using night crawlers, power bait ( especially lemon twist and spring green), lures, and senkos to catch limits. Most trout caught were near or over 2 lbs. Hot spots were the eastern shore and northern shore of lake 2 and the grassy point of lake 3. Bass bite has also improved with anglers reporting fair action at the western shore of lake 3 and the southeastern shore of lake 2 on senkos with bass up to 3 lbs. Bluegill were hitting lures and meal worms near the pump house and the western shore of lake 2. Most bluegill caught are near or over 1 pound.

Overall best bite was before 11am. The pay per trout Angling Pond was the best bet after 11am, where anglers paid $3.50 per trout with no limit.

Catches of the week: Matt Pulver of Apple Valley caught a 15 lbs 8 ozs limit that included a 4 lbs 15 ozs rainbow. He used an orange and green trout magnet and fished the grassy point of lake 3 and the eastern shore of lake 2. Chris Lyttle of Rancho Cucamonga reeled in a nice 3 lbs 14 ozs trout on a green power worm while fishing the inlets of lake 2 on the eastern shore. Larry Statton of Corona caught a 4 lbs 2 ozs trout on a night crawler while fishing the grassy point of lake 3.
