Hello from the Independence, Today we decided to try for species other then tuna and we were pleasantly surprised on the day we had. We started the day with a jig strike which was a 75 pound wahoo, we ended up with 4 large wahoo for the day and we lost a few as well. We also hit a few kelps which held lots of the dorado, after tagging enough of those for the guys we headed in for some yellowtail and had wide open action for the last couple of hours of daylight, The fish were mostly 12 to 18 pounds and they bit the iron very well. We are now headed for home with a great catch aboard and will arrive to San Diego between 6:15am and 6:30AM on Friday. Thanks for checking in Mark, Kyle John, Frank, Sean, Rolf and Tom.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-6006 to get in on the action.
