Farther up the peninsula, Julio dumped enough rain to flood a third of Ciudad Insurgentes and parts of Constituci??n.

According to local newspapers, Julio caused heavy rains in the mountainous area of Comond??, bringing severe floods of water into several towns. The inhabitants of Ciudad Insurgentes found it necessary to place sand bags at some building entrances, several families still suffered heavy material losses.

Fortunately, the storm passed through quickly and flooding receded allowing clean up to begin throughout the area.

Governor Narciso Ag??ndez, along with military and public works officials, conducted a tour on Monday of the entire area in order to access the damage.

Because of the storm damage cleanup fishing was put on the back burner.
