Our timing was absolutely impeccable as what seemed to be tough conditions ahead of us at the beginning of the trip turned out to be the opposite. We finished off the trip with beautiful flat calm weather and the best tuna fishing that we have enjoyed all year. It just goes to show that it is hard to base a trip on the past as present conditions on the ocean change so fast.

We hid from the weather today and we were extremely fortunate that the yellowtail showed where it was calm. We were lucky enough to once again enjoy steady fishing on 20-25lb yellows as all techniques from the surface plug to the dropper loop all worked well.
