Royal Polaris docked at Fisherman's Landing under Roy Rose's hand August 26, after a five-day trip with 20 anglers. They had a good catch of yellowtail and dorado, along with a couple of dozen yellowfin and a wahoo.

Jim Haelskamp of Fresno won first place for a 27.3-pound yellowtail. No fish were available for photos, since all went to the processors.

Two 11-year-old boys won second and third places. Ian Harkness of San Diego got a 27-pounder, and James Beecher, Jr. of Fresno got a 22-pound yellowtail.
