Rolling into today with our chins still up, the determination was fierce and lucky for us things had changed for the better. Liking our new location, we were happy when daylight broke and the yellows were hitting. Some stops were biting better than others but it was an all day affair to say the least with visual surface iron, yo-yo, and fly line being the hot tickets to scoring some of these 18-25lb yellowtail today. At times with on the corner type fishing and sometimes just a line in the water is all it took.
Feeling like we're back on track and today was a definite morale booster. Now that the blood is pumping we are making a short move to hopefully top off on a little more yellowtail action.
Todays shot include father/son team Frank and Josh Hess representing team oceanside.
