We arrived at our new fish'n destination around lunchtime, to find lousy weather and conditions - but even
though the day challenged us with these tough cards, we were able to overcome and enjoy a fun afternoon of yellowtail fishing.
Yanking and cranking on 18-25lb yellows was therapeutic with the bonus being that almost every bite was a visual one and from fly lined baits to surface wound 7X's it was the perfect greeting.
The gang's morale was high and they took a minute to pose for the camera and show their skinny pirate smiles.
We're making another short move and hope to keep the ball rolling.
Praying for better weather,
The Guys

Shutting down just after daylight, we started hooking fish right away and were off to the races....which was to be short lived. We chose not to make a face for the hand we were dealt but to instead be grateful for the three hour window of catching. Before having to relocate to our...... Read More
