Leaving the dock with marginal weather/ fishing reports kept us modest but optimistic in hopes for the best.
As daylight arose, we were pleasantly surprised with beautiful weather and fast action fishing. An eager biting school of yellowfin & bluefin set the tone as well as helped us get out the first-stop-jitters.
Piecing stops together throughout the day (with most fish being in the 12-25lb class), we did manage to rally up a stop of those 30-50lb bluefin as well.
Feeling fortunate with a successful day, we are staying local and going to try our luck tomorrow in hopes of more of the same results.
Happy Times,
The Guys
