The guys called tonight to give us an update here at home and sounds like despite a few rain squalls, they had a slow pick of nice tuna all day - most of them were from 70 - 150lbs. Capt Brian Kiyohara reported that there were 3 fortunate anglers to catch a 200lber - Kub Ito, Pat Gallagher and Glenn Bummer. Other stories didn't end quite as well and fish were lost largely because it was difficult to land them in their weather and short top shots were also a culprit....

They are looking forward to tomorrow to get it in gear and start putting a few more fish onboard. Check back!

Capt. Brian Kiyohara backed the American Angler into Pt Loma Sportfishing at 6am with her second historical trip of 3 fish weighing in over 300lbs on one voyage.
