With ants in our pants and today being the real first day of fishing, the gang was raring to go bright and early and ready to get rid of those itchy fingers. Staying patient and waiting for things to wake up, the timing couldn't have been any better when the yellows showed up in force. As the sun was rising we were staying steady on beautiful premium 25-40lb yellows. It didn't take too long before the sweat was dripping and personal best pictures where being taken.
Wrapping it up just before lunch, we felt lucky to have a great start feather in our hat and we are continuing our voyage south in search of more exotic species.
Today's stars are Brian Baker assisted by Andrew showing off his trophy slug of the day, and J.P. Holmes assisted by Capt. Taro displaying one of the first beauties brought aboard this morning.
Sliding,
The Guys
