Its been hit and miss with the bluefin bite over the past couple of days and yesterday was a nice hit for us on those beautiful grade fish. We have great folks on the boat - and a combo of 3 different groups became cohesive. Big thanks to the following donors for their generosity: Sara from Five Star, Mark from Chark Bait, Ed Hosaka (rod wrapper extraordinaire), Peter from Big Hammer, Ken's Custom Reels and Tady Lures. Also thanks to Steve Powell - acting chartermaster this year in Chris's absence...and to Bill Randall for all his contributions.
Congrats on our jackpot winners - jackpot picture courtesy of Mas Kosaka

We chose to fish for 6 days on this 7 day trip because of the chance for quality good grade fish in the semi local grounds. Today we were once again blessed with good weather and good fishing. Henry Asao was the boat's envy with his 78lb bluefin tuna as we all wished we were as lucky as him. Doing Whatever It Takes The Guys [gallery]...... Read More
