Over the last couple of days we've been very thankful and grateful for some great fishing..... but with good comes the bad.
Today wasn't what you would necessarily call bad by any means, but you might say we just weren't on our game. A short-lived early morning kelp paddy with everyone on fish gave us our best action of the day. With great fishing potential around later in the day, connecting was not in our vocabulary today. We have such an awesome group of guys - everyone is staying focused and appreciating today for what it was.
Still with one more day left on the grounds.... tomorrow is a new day.
Steve Sargent shows off another quality yellowfin and one can only say "wow" every time one comes over the rail. We will let you make up your own description of the weather in the backdrop.
No complaints,
The Boys

8-6-2012As the sun rose today, the smiles on everyone's faces were a sign of confidence. With luck on our side the last two days - the gang stayed modest and prepared for a new day. Instead of running off and leaving fish to go find fish, we started looking around right where yesterday's sign left us. A few random stops kept us busy until bite time - giving us hope that it was just around the corner. And just like the doctor...... Read More

Still on a high from yesterday's fun-filled day, the anticipation was driving us crazy. We had to deal with a little bit more wind, but that couldn't stop us from getting on them first thing this morning. Plunkers consisting of 20-45lb yellowfin and bluefin kept us busy the majority of the day with a couple handfuls of dorado and yellowtail thrown in the mix. A perfect pace and it was an action-packed day... to say the least. With signs...... Read More
