It seems like when fishing for bluefin, certain times of the day are better than others.....otherwise known as "float time".
Even though we didn't make it into the nectar piece of water til 10am, we were still lucky enough to catch the last couple hours of bft bite time. We got on a deal that began with classic 8 - 10 hooked, which eventually settled into a steady plunk. Unfortunately for us, after that stop, things were pretty slow with just a few short stops during the afternoon.

After all the wind and tough fishing conditions that we have endured this season, it sure is nice to experience the opposite. Daylight brought beautiful, no wind conditions and we were able to take advantage and enjoy great tuna fishing for the second day in a row. We caught plenty of good grade bluefin and a bunch of yellowfin tuna. Today's picture is the happy father and son team, Charlie and Trevor Osaki. We Appreciate It All, The Guys...... Read More
