Today is the kind of day we all who enjoy the oceans unpredictability, live for. Zero wind, flat calm and greasy weather, running on spots of jumping bluefin, sliding in on the closest spot as we flyline sardines in the middle of the turmoil.... is as good as it gets. We had a busy morning catching 20-30lb fish and we also saw several 50-75lb fish jumping in several of the spots.
We had a very diverse group with us this trip that encompassed six different states, but as with all American Angler groups they evolved into one fun-loving bunch.
Pictured is Dave and Mitch Karlin who have fished with us for many years. Mitch is now 12 years old and not only did he catch a bunch of fish, he helped the crew gaff, tag and scrub the boat and if not for a promising future pursuing a high school and college education he would be a cinch as a good crew member.

The Guys

We also caught some bonus flatfish at the end of the day that were real crowd pleasers. Bill Schade was...... Read More
