Yesterday we still had windy conditions and so consolidated to a small area and scratched yellowtail - everyone had a good time and we stayed out of the weather.

Today we backtracked to the area where we caught fish before the weather came up - the wind really beat up the ocean...it was black and blue, but we were hopeful and went back to where we left them a few days ago. Of course, the water was different and fish were nowhere to be found, but we spread out looking (3 of us) and by afternoon, we found schools of bft and it ended up saving the day.

Because the weather is very choppy offshore, we gave it a break and worked inside close to the beach where it was more comfortable. We saw plenty of yellows but it was very frustrating as they were on their own bait and wanted nothing to do with ours.
