Good Tuna Fishing For Amigo & Schedule Of Trips Through Labor Day (August 23-Sept 1)

The Amigo called in early this morning with over 30 yellowfin tuna, 1 yellowtail, and 2 dorado and most of the day left to fish on a 1 ?? day charter that left last night (Thursday August 21). Sounds like tuna fishing was pretty good for the Amigo this morning. We won't have a final count until tomorrow morning. The Ultra is on a 1 day trip today with over 25 large yellowtail for only 9 anglers. I wasn't able to get full details but if they fished the area I think they did the yellowtail have been from 25-35 pounds. And now for our schedule for this weekend through Labor Day Weekend (wow time flys).

The Amigo has an open party overnight trip fishing Tuesday (August 26). Departs Monday August 25 at 10 pm. Limited to 18 anglers at $189. This trip will be going after yellowfin tuna, bluefin tuna, albacore tuna, yellowtail, and dorado. Just opened this trip up.

The Amigo has a open party 1 ?? day trip leaving Tuesday night (August 26) at 9 pm fishing all day Weds August 27. Limited to 18 anglers at $265. This trip will allow for a full day of fishing from dawn to dusk. They will go offshore and possible fish the Tanner or even the Cortez Banks. Should be a great weekend trip. The Aggressor has an open party overnight leaving Tuesday night (August 26) at 10 pm fishing Weds (August 27). Limited to 18 anglers at $189. Just opened this trip up.

We do not have any open party ?? day trips for this weekend. The Patriot will be running standard ?? trips Monday and Tuesday (August 25 & August 26) this upcoming week and limited load extended ?? day trips Weds, Thursday, & Friday (August 27-August 29). These trips are limited to 35 anglers at $95 and depart at 6 am return at 6pm. The Patriot has an open party limited load for Saturday August 30 departing at 6am returning at 6pm. The Patriot also has an open party limited extended ?? day trip for Monday (Sept 1) Labor Day.

The limited load extended ?? day trips will be fishing either offshore, Catalina Island, or Coastal and will be targeting big game fish. Fishing has been slower on the dorado under the kelp paddies but there is still lots of fish they are just not biting as well right now (maybe the full moon?). There are yellowtail down the coast as well as at Catalina Island and these earlier departure times should help with those bites.

The Nautilus will have open party morning, afternoon, and twilight ?? day trips daily except, Saturday August 23, Sunday August 24, and Sunday August 31 when twilight trips are only available.
