Sand Dab and Crab Combo Trip Off of Pillar Point

Huli Cat out of Half Moon Bay went on a Sand Dab and crab combo trip off of Pillar Point. Howard Young from San Jose with some sand dabs pulled up in 280ft of water. Jeanne Tognoni from Belmont with a couple petrole up to 3lbs. Hiram Avery from Santa Clara also with a couple Petrole up to 3lbs. Natalia Otten and daughter Tina Otten with a pot pulled up with 19 crab. Ocean conditions were slightly breezy in the morning with some small rolling swells.

2-22-2019The striped bass and sturgeon bite remains solid in the San Pablo Bay along with some quality flounder. The striped bass have been averaging from 5 to 12 pounds, up to an occasional fish weighing 15 pounds along with some slot limit sturgeon. Check weather conditions before venturing out to the bay.
