Laughlin Fishing Report!

Rusty
Our weather being a bit on the not so normal for this time, the fishing is a bit slow. The Willow Beach Hatchery is helping out a bunch by stocking some nice Rainbow Trout. Now that this federal hatchery is back on line and up and running we are getting some nice fish. Our community park area is a super spot, so show our local anglers. We have Mat Farley and Mike Merritt each with a limit of trout. These two anglers were using different approaches to land their rainbows. Mike used one of his favorite spinners while pat was bait fishing with power bait. Community park being stocked on Tuesday it’s a great family out door trip. This area has a great shore line and after the trout move out they will hold up in various holes in that area. As far as which power bait it can and does vary some I would try green first then orange red and yellow but this is not a rule. For the anglers who like using spinners I like the spin a lure and panther martin along with the blue fox are great trout spinners to have in your arsenal.

The striper bite should be picking up near the Davis dam soon. The topock marsh area should be opening up soon as the...... Read More
