Our trip started out with some excellent Wahoo fishing at the rocks.  We had 30 Wahoo and a few small Yellowfin tuna.  Most of the Wahoo were in the 30 to 40 pound range.  We continued on to our first destination.  Alan Moore was the luck angler, winning a Cal Star blank.  Alan caught the first Wahoo not on the troll.  Day 3 we had a tackle seminar on rigging and kite leaders.  We will arrive to our destination tomorrow morning.  

The first day of fishing was a bit slow, with only 12 Yellowfin (75 to 100), with the largest being caught by Peter Douglas, with a 183 pound Yellowfin tuna, which won him a Cal Star blank. 

The next day we caught 13 Yellowfin in the 75 to 130 pound, with the largest one being caught by Robert “Big Fish” Ramirez.  Roberts fish came in at 231 pounds, while John Kehrli caught the first Yellowfin over 100 pounds for our second day prize.  John won a complete set of reel covers.  

Day 3 of fishing, things slowed down, with only 7 Yellowfin and 4 Wahoo being caught.  Robert “Big Fish” Ramirez is keeping it steady, with another fish over two hundred pounds.  Robert is having a great trip so far with his second Yellowfin over 200, this one came in at 257 pounds.  

Day 4, things pick up some with 11 Yellowfin being boarded today, most of the fish are in the 75 to 135 pound range.
