CONANP Conservation Passport

2-14-2019
Ken Franke

In order to enter a protected area of Mexico (example: Coronado Islands Biosphere) a bracelet is required to be worn by each person aboard a vessel.

The protected areas are managed by the Mexican Agency "CONANP".

CONANP has created a "passport" product that will permit a person to enter protected areas anywhere in Mexico for an entire year from the date of purchase.

The cost is less than $20.

This is a good solution for the person who is on a long trip or where they repeatedly want to enter an area and do not want to have to buy daily CONANP Protected Area Bracelets.

Click HERE to go to the purchase site.  Depending on what type of computer you have you may automatically get an auto-translate button in which case you can immediately switch to English.  If the auto-translate button does not appear click here to get Step by Step instructions in English.

The "passport" must be in your possession while in the protected area.
