Hi Gang,
We enjoyed another morning of beautiful weather today. We arrived at Alijos Rocks just before 0900 and shortly there after, had our first stop on the troll. Brian Melville picked up a very nice wahoo that looked to be around 50 pounds. Brian's first ever wahoo. Good job Brian! We never saw another wahoo after that which I contribute to the water temp which was just 69.5 degrees. We did see good sign of smaller yellowfin tuna that were up to around 40 pounds. After catching enough yellowfin for a sushi spread and a dinner, we continued our way south.
We have added some new trips to our schedule for the upcoming year. We have some weekend 3 day trips scheduled in May, an 8 day trip scheduled over Memorial Day weekend, a couple of Seeker and Soft Steel sponsored 10 day trips in December, a 3 day trip that departs after Christmas, and a Dave Berutich sponsored 9 day that departs on the 2nd of January. All of these trips are new to our schedule so check them out on our "book online" page and hopefully we see you onboard. Thanks for checking in, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4088 to get in on the action.
