The Jerry Brown Line One Spectra trip is continuing to enjoy the flat calm weather and decent fishing. Yesterday’s fish count: 25 wahoo and 12 YFT up to 185 lbs.

Sturgeon and Striped Bass Seem to be the Ticket

Sturgeon and striped bass seem to be the ticket for those fishing the outgoing tides in San Pablo Bay. Some anglers are having banner days on both species catching as many as seven legal sturgeon to 59.5 inches and two fish limits of striped bass to 10 pounds. Mud shrimp seems to be the preferred bait. Some of the best action is taking place from the Pumphouse to Sonoma Creek with no reports coming from the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge area. ...... The Jerry Brown Line One spectra trip is having excellent fishing on YFT from 100# to 266# with beautiful flat, calm weather. On Saturday, they boated 31 YFT with the largest caught by chartermaster Don Burnside. Kudos to Don for his 266 pounder!
