Big Hungry

Captain Adam aboard the New Lo-An checked in with 42 Bluefin Tuna so far for his 1.5 day trip. These fish are ranging from 50# to 100#. Recommended tackle for these fish is 50# fluorocarbon line with a circle hook.

 

The full day trip aboard the Mission Belle called in 25 Yellowfin Tuna, 54 Yellowtail, 40 Skipjack Tuna and 2 Dorado.


Upcoming Trips from PLSF:

 Departing on Friday night:

 The Chief has an overnight trip departing at 8:00 pm. Ticket price is $260 and includes your Mexican fishing permits and bunk. This trip is a DEFINITE GO!

 

Departing on Saturday morning:

The Mission Belle departs at 6:00 am for a full day offshore trip. Ticket price is $155 for adults, $145 for seniors, active duty military and juniors. A Mexican fshing permit is included in the price. No passport required for this trip. 

Departing on Saturday night:

The Chief departs for a 1 ½ day trip at 8:00 pm. Ticket price is $380.00 which includes your Mexican fishing permits and bunk. A California license is additional.

 

Lobster Hoop Netting Trip:

The Josie Lynn is running lobster trips Wednesday through Saturday. Trips depart at 5:30pm and return at 11:00 pm. Ticket price is $100.00 per person and includes two hoop nets. A valid California fishing license and lobster report card is required for all passengers. Trips are limited to 5 passengers.


Upcoming 1/2 day & Full Day Trips:

The 1/2 day boat Daily Double departs at 8:30 am for fishing at the local kelp beds and other hot spots. Ticket price is $50 for adults, $40 for seniors or active duty military and $35 for juniors. Return time is around 2:30 pm. A California fishing license will be additional. No passport required for this trip.

The Mission Belle is scheduled daily for their full day trip at 6:00 am fishing Offshore in Mexico. This trip will be targeting Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowtail, Dorado and Bonito. Ticket price includes your Mexican fishing license. Passports are not required for this trip.

The Point Loma is now running "local" ¾ day trips on a daily basis. This trip will be fishing the local kelp beds and other hot spots in California. Departure time is 6:30 am with a return time around 4:30 pm. A California fishing license will be additional. No passport required for this trip.

Captain Steve P. on the Mission Belle called in from their last Full Day trip with 85 Yellowfin Tuna (Limits), 30 Yellowtail, and 20 Skipjack Tuna.
