Hi Gang,
We started out our morning yesterday with wide open yellowfin tuna fishing but unfortunately it was not the grade we are in the market for and we released just about everything we caught. No sign of the bigger yellowfin so we took off at 0800 to fish some areas off the beaten path. We didn't catch a whole lot but we had fun looking at some new country. We did pick up a nice wahoo, we released a bunch of calico bass, sand bass, small yellowtail, and we caught a handful of nice grouper. Our host Gerry Tesselaar had big fish honors with a grouper that looks to be around 50 pounds. Gerry tells us that he's being trying to catch a nice grouper for 10 years now. Mission accomplished Gerry. Our weather was nice, the food was incredible, and the guys actually enjoyed a little down time to recover from 3 days of non stop fishing. Life is good. Thanks for checking in, Captain Bill Cavanaugh
