Qualifier Crew
We departed today on our annual 72 hour Lets Talk Hook Up fishing extravaganza. With the possibility of getting some quality fishing time in on the first afternoon of the trip everyone was pretty excited to get out to the fishing grounds. Before we knew it we had our trollers in the water and soon enough we had our first jig stop of the trip. Our jigs fooled one albacore and another fell victim to a well presented bait. One of the albacore happened to be the first albacore ever caught by one our anglers and much to the delight of passengers and crew the heart was soon being gobbled up. It is common knowledge that if one does not eat the heart of the first albacore he/she ever catches that particular angler will never catch another albacore again. With blood on the deck and fish in our well everyone is in great spirits. We tracked down a paddy right at dusk with a few shaker Dorado to get us warmed up for tomorrow. We plan to do some serious kelping tomorrow so we will keep you posted.

The grease flat weather continued and made for ideal conditions. It was a great trip and a big Qualifier thank you goes out...... Read More
