The lower klamath river is starting to fill up with some fish and I have been spending a little time scouting and getting ready for the middle section of the river to start fishing. Let's just hope the folks that are managing the quota predictions dont bomb it like they did the last time we had some fish in the river. 3 years ago who ever is supposedly monitoring the quota for the middle section of the river decided that the limit had been reached and shut the river down the first week of October and I was the only guide fishing from I5 to the trinity river and I can tell you that has not changed. CDFW keep the river open if you dont have an accurate count on how many salmon have been harvested or better yet give me a call and I will tell you.
