Royal Polaris Sportfishing Fish Report

Royal Polaris Crew
Thats the only word that can describe today's fishing and weather. We had wonderful weather today, with flat seas, clear skies, and very warm. But the weather was not the only thing that heated up. We had an excellent day of fishing. We caught Dorado, Yellowfin tuna, Bluefin tuna, Yellowtail.
Our morning started out looking for kelps, and it didn't take very long. Once Roy positioned the boat, somebody opened up the flood gates. It was like fishing inside of an aquarium. First it was Dorado, then Yellowtail, and then the Yellowfin moved in. At any given point you could look in the water and see Dorado chasing baits, Yellowfin tuna jumping out of the water after baits. Everyone was having a great time. Lucky Angler award goes to Gary Ahsing. While Gary was fishing the kite, he caught two 35 pound Yellowfin at the same time (now thats luck).
Most of the Yellowfin were in the 18 to 25 pound range, with a few going 35 to 40 pounds. The Dorado were beautiful fish (we released all the fish under 12 pounds), with most in the 15 to 20 pound catogory. It's all smiles aboard today with excellent fishing and great weather. So in closing, all I could say is WOW!!!.
P.S. We are headed east, and will try our luck at some White Sea Bass, so wish us luck. The R/p crew.
