Willow Creek Reservoir Restoration Volunteers

9-5-2018
Nevada Department of Wildlife

NDOW and Barrick are partnering up to put together the final stage of the Willow Creek Reservoir Restoration. Now that the dam is fixed and improved, NDOW, Barrick and volunteers will build and install fish habitat structures to be placed at the bottom of Willow Creek Reservoir before it fills up.  Volunteers will meet at the reservoir, which is near Midas in Elko County at 8:00 am on September 8th to start work.  Volunteers should dress wear appropriate work clothes including boots and gloves.  Volunteers are being asked to bring pliers, hammers and cordless drills if they have them.  Lunch will be provided by Barrick.  To sign up or get more information, please contact Julie Hughes at 775-777-2391 or jahughes@ndow.org.
