Big Hungry
The Chief called in with 3 Yellowtail, 20 Calico Bass, 1 Sheephead, 2 Barracuda and 5 Bluefin Tuna upto 100 pounds!
The Dominator called in with limits of Skipjack and Yellowfin and "Left them biting"; the crew said they'd never seen Yellowfin bite like this!
The El Capitan called in for day one of their 2.5 day trip with 37 Yellowfin Tuna, a couple Dorado and LIMITS of Skipjack Tuna. Check back with us later for a final report!
The New Lo-An called in with 32 Yellowfin Tuna, 68 Skipjack and 6 Dorado for their 1 Day trip.
Captain Mike on the Josie Lynn called in with 30 Skipjack, 6 Dorado and 15 Yellowfin Tuna on their 2 Day 6 Pack Charter trip with 1 day of fishing left to go.
The Mission Belle called in with 94 Yellowtail, 55 Bonito, 10 Calico Bass, 9 Rockfish and 1 Sheephead for their Full Day Coronado Islands trip.
The Daily Double called in from their morning trip with 1 Bonito, 15 Calico Bass, 1 Halibut, 22 Rockfish, 1 Lingcod, 1 Sheephead and 5 Whitefish.
The Daily Double called in from their PM 1/2 day trip with 1 Bonito, 24 Calico Bass (with 150 released), and 2 Rockfish.
The Point Loma called in from their local 3/4 day trip with 7 Bonito, 37 Calico Bass, 2 Sand Bass and 117 Rockfish.
Upcoming trips from PLSF
Departing on Sunday night:
The Chief has space aboard a 1.5 day trip departing Sunday night for $380 a ticket including your Mexican permit. Meals are extra.
Departing Monday Morning
Josie Lynn is going out on a Ultra limited 3/4 day offshore trip for Tuna and Yellowtail. Mexican fishing permit, fishing tackle, and meals are included in the ticket price.
Bluefin Special:
The New Lo-An has a 2.75 day trip departing on October 26th targeting Bluefin Tuna. Ticket price is $700.00 and includes your meals and Mexican fishing permit.. Departure time is set for noon. Limited to 22 passengers. Please bring a setup with 80# or 100#.
Upcoming ½ day & Full Day Trips:
The 1/2 day boat Daily Double departs at 8:30 am and 3:00 pm to fish the local kelp beds and other hot spots. California fishing license and equipment rentals are extra. Note: Starting on September 3rd the Daily Double will be back to running one trip a day Monday through Thursday departing at 8:30am. The Double will offer two trips a day on Friday and Saturday, with the afternoon trip departing at 3pm.
The Mission Belle is scheduled daily for their full day trip at 6:00 am fishing at the Coronado Islands in Mexico. This trip will be targeting Yellowtail, Bonito, Bass and Rockfish. Ticket price includes your Mexican fishing license and tourist visa. A valid passport or passport card is required for all passengers going on this trip.
The Point Loma is now running "local" ¾ day trips on a daily basis. This trip will be fishing the local kelp beds and other hot spots in California. Departure time is 6:30 am with a return time around 4:30 pm. A California fishing license will be additional. No passport required for this trip.
