Fish Report for 7-22-2018

Joe Lacuesta of Santa Cruz caught a 61.5 inch Sturgeon fishing in scow canyon for Catfish using shrimp on 6-16-18. It took him about 20 minutes to reel in and it made 6 runs.
Appears that the Bass Bite is On.

Fishing is still much of the same. For the catfish use anchovies, sardines, mackerel, chicken livers. The boat launch has been the best bite so far. Crappie are biting. You will find the smaller ones from the shoreline for the big ones try Scow Canyon around the reeds and various covers. And it appears that the bass bite is on.
