365 sand bass on morning 1/2 day, excellent bass fishing

Hi Everyone
Outstanding sand bass fishing for the last few days with the Nautilus catching 128 sand bass Weds morning followed by 155 sand bass yesterday afternoon. Last night the open party twilight had limits of sand bass or 200 sand bass for 20 anglers. This morning (Thursday July 17) the Nautilus had 365 sand bass on their open party am ?? day trip. The Amigo on a ?? day charter this morning had 110 sand bass and 5 calico for 18 anglers. The sand bass are spawning and it looks like even more sand bass are moving in. Twilight and ?? day trips should be lots of fun. The ?? day trips have also been doing really well on the sand bass and catching barracuda as well along with the occasional halibut.
Warm water is pushing in from the south and there are yellowtail on the kelp paddies just off the coast.
For Newport Landing Sportfishing's Schedule for this week/weekend:
The Aggressor has an open party overnight trip fishing Friday (July 18). Departs at 10 pm tonight (Thursday July 17). Limited to 20 anglers at $150. Currently 6 spots open and this trip is going. They will more than likely be targeting San Clemente Island for yellowtail and white sea bass although offshore is also possible.
The Aggressor also has an open party overnight trip fishing Tuesday (July 22). Departs at 10pm Monday (July 21). Limited to 20 anglers at $150.
The Aggressor also has a private overnight charter fishing this Sunday (July 20). Limited to 20 anglers. Keith has 2 spots open and the price is $188. If interested just give him a call at 310-880-5824.
The Ultra has an open party overnight fishing Thursday (July 24). Departs Weds (July 23) at 9pm. Limited to 9 anglers at $240. Just opened this trip up.
The Nautilus has open party am ?? day, pm ?? day, and twilight trip for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and all next week with the exception of Saturday's afternoon ?? day trip which is privately chartered. Saturday's morning trip is the busiest with about 35 reservations the other trips have only about 10 reservations each.
The Patriot has an open party ?? day trip for Friday (July 18) departs at 7am returns at 5pm. Saturday we will not have an open party ?? day trip. Sunday (July 20) the Patriot will be running an open party ?? day trip departing at 7am returning at 5pm.
The Patriot will have open party ?? day trips all next week.

7-15-2008The Patriot has an open party 3/4 day trip for tomorrow (Weds July 16) leaving at 7am returning at 5pm. They had 76 barracuda, 133 sand bass, and 8 calico bass today (Tuesday July 15).
