Steady bite on Whiskeytown!

Jeff Goodwin
Today I fished with the Ewing family from Texas. Its pretty much fishing the same for me every trip and succes levels depend on how many Kokanee are landed. Limits are a possibility generally speaking, but if you lose half or more of the Kokanee you hook, you'll most likely have to work hard to get those limits. Pink was a hot color today, but died off as the day wore on. If your baits arent working, switch them out and use your imagination. Some odd color combo's are working right now!
Jeff Goodwin is a full time Northern California fishing guide. He guides year round for salmon, trout, steelhead, Kokanee, and bass on Northern California rivers and lakes. He fishes many bodies of water in the Redding area, but also guides the Sacramento River and Feather River during certain times of the year. Jeff can also be found on the California coast chasing ocean fresh King salmon and steelhead each year.
