En Fuego on the West End
7-12-2008
Homan Khaki
I had the pleasure of joining Team Fuego on the Aloha Spirit out of Captain Hook's Sportfishing. It was one of those days that just felt good right out of the chute. The weather was beautiful, the ocean was flat calm, and there were good vibes from nearly everything ??? people, crew, boat, Mother Nature, etc.
Captain Shawn Steward made the decision to make the stretch over to the West End of Santa Cruz. As soon as we soaked our lines our rods loaded up on some of the best Rockfishing I've experienced in a very long time. It was an added bonus to have great fishing when we already knew we'd have a good time with a phenomenal set of hardcore anglers. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
Here's a Video of our exploration after hitting easy limits!
