Afternoon report

6-27-2018
Ernie Prieto

The Chubasco2 with Captain David Yumori at the helm called in reporting great calico bass fishing by noon. The charter group has already kept 40 keeper calicos with over 120 released. The action has been steady with alot of time left.

The Sea Star has a group of kids out on a catch and release trip. The calico bass fishing has been outstanding with lots of legal size bass released. Captain Joe also reported that 3 yellowtail were hooked and released. The highlight so far was a thresher shark being hooked. The shark jumped and put on quite a show for the kids before popping off the hook.

The action is heating up as is the weather. Be sure to bring sunscreen and a hat to protect yourself from the elements. The Oceanside SEA Center is ready to take you out to join in the action!

We offer local 1/2 day trips, 3/4 day local trips, and local offshore tuna trips when in season. If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 599-8290 to get in on the action.
