Turned around and squared away in short order we are back on the trek south freighting good bait, good prospects, and plenty of optimism. 22 Anglers join us on this Blackwater sponsored seven day voyage that is poised to take advantage of a beautiful weather window currently forecast to endure nigh the entire trip. We’ll see. At the very least we can expect ideal conditions below where we will begin our fishing. Opting to play through we’ll keep these fickle offshore bluefin on the back burner hoping to catch them in a biting mode, if we can locate them, on the northern leg of this run.
Tomorrow will be a travel day but nothing worthy will be ignored if we happen upon it. Look for reports and photos to continue as the voyage unfolds. Beyond this voyage we still have a handful or two of spots available on a select few upcoming voyages. Between the epic fishing for jumbo yellows down below, sign of bluefin everywhere offshore, kelps starting to pick up a few quality yellows, and whisperings of phenomenal sign of yellowfin already staging outside, the set up is heading in the right direction. Enjoy an image from the archive today of soon to be RSW'd yellowfin tuna.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
