There Was Lots of Good Action on the Pond this Week!
6-17-2018
Jim Reid
There was lots of good action on the pond this week, there are periods of time where they don’t seem to want to bite but then when they turn on it’s a frenzy! Sometimes it’s just a matter of figuring out what they want to eat and other times it seems like they’ll eat anything. The best patterns this week were leech patterns like simi seal leeches, zack attack leeches, mayer’s mini leech, stillwater nymphs, and there’s also been some good dry/dropper action with para adams and small stimulators on top and a zebra midge, soft hackle or flashback emerger underneath.
