Its no secret Shasta Lake has some exceptional brown trout fishing and as the word of good fishing spreads, a lot of brown trout fans have really started to pay attention to this fishery.  The Pautzke Bait Company is no exception and being that they are a world class leader in the bait industry, they have taken notice as well.  Pautzke Bait Co. director of operations, Chris Shaffer, came up to see for himself just what makes this fishery so special.  After all, their "Fire Brine" has been a huge part of my success on this fishery so it stands to reason that Pautzke would have some serious interest in how its being applied to my success rates. Today we spent the morning and afternoon with Chris' dad and two uncles putting words into action on Shasta Lake with the word "ACTION" describing the day.  It was a goal to find some nice browns as part of the day with some fast action rainbows thrown in the mix.  Browns we found and rainbows too with a heavy spotted bass bite at first light.  The day was a success and we agreed our mission was accomplished.  Remember, July-Sept is the peak of the big rainbow season so booking your date (s) with us soon is a good idea.  Many of my clients end the day stating its the best day of fishing they have ever experienced..  Thank you for fishing with us and supporting a Veteran owned business..
