Big Hungry
The New Lo-An departs tonight at 6:00pm for an offshore 1½ day trip. The early departure time is allowing them to reach the lower zone which has been producing very good scores of Bluefin with some Yellowfin tuna mixed in. Ticket price is $350 and includes your Mexican permit. THIS TRIP IS A WILL RUN TRIP with only 11 passengers booked at this time. No passport required for this trip.
The full day trip aboard the Mission Belle yesterday returned with 41 yellowtail, 30 calico bass, 7 whitefish, and 5 bonito for 22 passengers. They have a light load for Wednesday with 10 passengers book at this point. Call 619-223-1627 to make a reservation.
Upcoming Offshore Trips:
The Dominator is scheduled Friday night trip for a 1.5 day trip. Trip cost is $325 a person with Mexican permits included. Departure time is scheduled for 8:00 pm.
Upcoming ½ day & Full Day Trips:
The Daily Double is scheduled daily at 8:30 am for 1/2 day trips to the local kelp beds and other hot spots. On Friday and Saturday they're running 2 trips with the second trip leaving at 3:00 pm and returning at 8:30 pm. Ticket price is $50 for adults, $40 for seniors or active duty military and $35 for juniors 15 and under. California fishing license and equipment rentals are extra.
The Mission Belle is scheduled daily for their full day trip at 6:00 am fishing at the Coronado Islands in Mexico. This trip will be targeting Yellowtail, Bonito, Bass and Rockfish. Ticket price includes your Mexican fishing license and tourist visa. A valid passport or passport card is required for all passengers going on this trip.
The Point Loma is now running "local" ¾ day trips on a daily basis. Ticket prices are $85.00 for adults and $75.00 for juniors, seniors and active duty military. This trip will be fishing the local kelp beds and other hot spots in California. Departure time is 6:30 am with a return time around 4:30 pm. A California fishing license will be additional. No passport is required for this trip.

The Mission Belle has LIMITS of Yellowtail on board and Captain Steve P. reports they are HUNGRY. Solid weather and mixed grade of fish 6-20 pound fish.
