Capt. Ray Lopez aboard the American Angler had a nice hit this morning on school size Bluefin Tuna. At this time they have 28 tuna in the 18# to 25# class with one fish coming in around 80#’s. Weather conditions are absolutely beautiful and they have all day to cover the area. The Angler is currently in the middle of an 8 day trip which had excellent fishing for 18# to 35# Yellowtail during the first part of the trip.

Upcoming 1½ day & Overnight Trips:

The Dominator departs Friday night for an overnight trip. This trip will be headed offshore looking for Bluefin and Yellowtail. Ticket price is $215 and includes your Mexican fishing permit and bunk. No passport needed for any of these trips!

 
Upcoming ½ day & Full Day Trips:

The Daily Double is scheduled daily at 8:30 am for 1/2 day trips to the local kelp beds and other hot spots. On Firday and Saturday they're running 2 trips with the second trip leaving at 3:00pm and returning at 8:30pm. Ticket price is $50 for adults, $40 for seniors or active duty military and $35 for juniors 15 and under. California fishing license and equipment rentals are extra.
 
The Mission Belle is scheduled daily for their full day trip at 6:00 am fishing at the Coronado Islands in Mexico. This trip will be targeting Yellowtail, Bonito, Bass and Rockfish. Ticket price  includes your Mexican fishing license and tourist visa. A valid passport or passport card is required for all passengers going on this trip.

The Point Loma will be offering “local” ¾ day trips starting on Saturday June 2nd. Ticket prices are $85.00 for adults and $75.00 for juniors, seniors and active duty military. This trip will be fishing the local kelp beds and other hot spots in California. Departure time is 6:30am with a return time around 4:30pm. A California fishing license will be additional. No passport required for this trip.
