Yellowtail all around

 We start off our day with 2 good schools of bluefin within an hour of day light. With little response we made a move west and found the right line of kelps. Our string kelps ended up producing 61 fishing ranging from 5-10 pounds. I’m the afternoon we did see more bluefin but couldn’t get one to go. Yellowtail biting and good sign of tuna !

Good sign

The ocean was in a funk. Right out of the gate we stopped on kelps, birds schools, and breezers of yellowtail. No matter how we got on them something  wasn’t right and we struggled to get bites. In the later part of the day unfortunately was more of the same. Great sign of Bluefin, but no response.
