Ranger 85 Two Day Trip

6-28-2008
Homan Khaki

We had a great time on our first two-day tuna charter of 2008 aboard the Ranger 85 out of H&M Landing in San Diego. The Albacore have been lurking around offshore and Captain Frank Ursitti and Crew were ready for the chase. Captain Frank gave his infamous fishing seminar on the bow just before we loaded up on bait and headed out.

We threw the feathers at first light and caught a few fish on the troll. The Ranger 85 offered us a great time as we relaxed and watched some movies on the big screen while we were on the troll. Captain Frank has made many improvements to an already beautiful vessel including a new television in the lower lounge, air conditioned galley and bunks and much more! Check out their schedule for some great charter opportunities or jump on the next SFR sponsored charter by clicking here. This fishing is just starting to bust loose so don't miss out!

Here's a Music Montage of our two day trip that I put together.
