Kilchis River Fishing Report
4-3-2018
OR Department of Fish & Wildlife Staff
Steelhead fishing was slow on the Kilchis last weekend, mostly due to low and clear conditions. There are still wild fish available throughout the system for catch and release, but this system can be challenging to fish because of the clear water. Remember to watch for and avoid spawning beds (redds). Dark colors, small presentations, light line, and stealthy tactics will probably produce the best results on this river.
